Fontana Arte Glass Tables

Many have asked if these coffee glass tables are original Fontana Arte tables, or Chinese copies. As far as I could research, Fontana Arte is a design company rather than manufacturer. The curved glass Fontana Arte coffee table was designed by Pietro Chiesa in 1932. As far as I can tell, the company does not have copyright on the design, and most importantly does not even sell Fontana Arte coffee glass tables, at least it is not listed on their website.

Some websites take advantage of this ambiguity, and sell these most likely Chinese made tables for over $2000.
